Far Exceeded Expectations
The Rockettes were performing only about half the time of the total spectacle, yet I always thought of the Christmas Spectacular as their show. I was pleasantly surprised by the ensemble cast's singing and dancing. The acoustics in Radio City Music Hall are indescribable. If you were seated close to the stage in the Orchestra area, you may have missed out on the spectacular light show on the ceiling and sides of the Hall. In fact, my preferred seats for a future visit would be in the mezzanine first balcony. It would have been nice to have small binoculars to focus on the performers on stage since the first mezzanine is quite far from the stage. Overall, an incredible experience. Surprisingly, amidst our secular world, the enactment of the Christmas story of Jesus' birth was a delightful addition for me.
